Validating Technical Feasibility: The Brain Rap Project

Winner of MIT Reality Hackathon People's Choice Award🏆

The Brain Rap Project is an innovative proof of concept aimed to revolutionize music performance and artist development. Utilizing development tools such as Unity, Python, PHP, and Node.js, along with SDKs including Unity and Neurable, Brain Rap integrated EEG, Emotion, and live performance data to enhance musicians' efficacy and self-awareness on stage. By analyzing this data, artists can tailor their performances, removing guesswork and allowing for more focus on lyrics and delivery. Brain Rap was the only NAI+ (Neuro Artificial Intelligence) marketing artist development tool on the market. Challenges with the Emotiv SDK were overcome by transitioning to the Neurable SDK, a Brain-Computer Interface built into a Virtual Reality Headset. Built with a strong team and fueled by inspiration from the mischaracterization of Black music artists and interactive musical change, Brain Rap represents the forefront of innovation in the music industry.
